The client had an existing kitchen layout which they were very comfortable with.

However the cabinets were very dated.

We were asked for the new scheme to be contemporary but still relevant to the rest of the house which leant towards a more traditional style.

We chose to use counter top wall cabinets in order to have good usable space coupled with a method of achieving a clean look by hiding appliances in regular use behind the closed doors.

Porcelain floor tiles in a slightly mauve grey tied the heather hues to the greyish natural oak cabinet doors.

The table was a 'pre-loved' find which we lovingly stripped and re waxed.
